My name is Billy Ammons, and I am running for the Alabama House of Representatives because I believe leadership begins with faith, service, and a genuine love for people.

I am an Alabama native, a United States Marine Corps veteran, a small business owner, and a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Public Health. Above all, I am a God fearing man who believes that when we put Christ at the center of our lives, strong families, healthy communities, and a better Alabama naturally follow.

My time in the Marine Corps taught me the value of humility, discipline, and serving something greater than myself. Those same lessons guided me after my service, as I built a veteran-owned business focused on honest work, stewardship, and providing for families. Through both service and business, I’ve learned that caring for people, honoring commitments, and doing what is right matter far more than titles or recognition.

I believe we are called to love our neighbors, protect our communities, and be wise stewards of the responsibilities entrusted to us. My desire to serve in public office comes from a heart to help, to listen, and to lead with integrity, compassion, and respect for every individual.

Public service, to me, is not about power or ambition, but about answering a call to serve faithfully and to leave our communities stronger, more united, and more hopeful than we found them.
